Rachael & Nick's autumn Southern Highland Wedding at the beautiful Montrose House in Suttons Forest was nothing short of amazing. These guys were so thoughtful, caring and intentional which made my job super easy!
A lot of people think that you need to have an afternoon ceremony & dinner reception. But these two decided to do it their own way and it was absolutely perfect. When Marcus & myself turned up at the groom prep in the morning it was foggy with a nice chill in the air. This weather continued all the way through to the start of the ceremony. If you have never been to Montrose house before and seen their numerous ceremony locations you probably should, oh and maybe do a little fog dance. Because the spot that Rachael & Nick picked was magical, make sure you slide down and check out how beautiful it looked.
As I mentioned earlier, they not only had a morning ceremony followed by a lunch time reception they also did something super special. After the ceremony they took some time out by themselves (and the professional third wheels Marcus & myself) to do some really personal vows to each other. This was such a beautiful and special moment which I think as a photographer I can take for granted. Getting to capture these moments always brings me back to the reason why I do what I do. I want to tell your story.
Here are just a few of my favourite images of the day & as always make sure you check out the vendors involved that came together to make this day.
