Terrara House is a heritage estate just outside Nowra, and it carries a sense of grandeur that never tips into showy. The gardens are manicured, the homestead is classic and romantic, and the whole place feels considered without feeling staged. It suits couples who want an elegant day that still feels like theirs.
Most ceremonies happen under the 100-year-old fig trees or out on the garden lawns, where the light is soft and there is room for everyone to gather. From there the day tends to open up across the grounds, with a marquee on the lawn holding the reception and the homestead offering quieter, more intimate spaces for smaller celebrations.
I photograph all of it the same way. Close enough to catch the real moments, far enough back that you forget I am there. The heritage detail, the long garden light, the way the day moves from the figs to the marquee. Timeless is the right word for this venue, and that is exactly how I want your photos to read in 20 years.
A short drive from home
I am based near Berry, and Terrara House is about 35 minutes up the road. That is well inside the zone I cover with no travel fee, so there is nothing extra added for the drive. I know the run into Terara, I know how the light sits on those lawns through the afternoon, and I know the venue well enough to plan around it rather than work it out on the day.
Being local means I am not rushing in and rushing out. I can be there early, settle in, and give your day the time it deserves. If something shifts in the timeline, I already know the grounds and where to move, which keeps things calm when it matters most.

How I work
How I work Most couples tell me the same thing before their wedding: they want great photos, but they don't want their day to feel like a photoshoot. That's the only brief I work to. A wedding day should feel lived in, not staged. I stay close enough to catch everything and unobtrusive enough that you forget I'm there. It starts with a free 15 to 20 minute call, so we can talk through your day and make sure we are a fit. To lock in your date, a $1,000 deposit holds it. About three months out I send a questionnaire to map the timeline. You will see a set of previews within 48 to 72 hours of the wedding, and your full gallery lands 6 to 8 weeks later. I take a limited number of weddings each year, and popular Terrara House dates tend to book 12 to 18 months ahead. If you have a date in mind, it is worth reaching out early.
