The Experience
Most couples tell me the same thing before their wedding: they want great photos, but they don't want their day to feel like a photoshoot. That's the only brief I work to.
With over 500 weddings photographed, I've learned when to step forward and when to step back. You won't spend hours performing for the camera but you also won't be left wondering what to do. You'll be present. And beautifully captured.
Below is everything you need to know about working together.
Your story deserves to be documented in a way that’s authentic to you. Let’s create something timeless with your love, honestly captured as the day unfolds. The small and big moments, the perfect and the unplanned.
Weddings
Digital & 35mm Film Photography
Investment: $5000 - $6000 average spend
You don't want to be thinking about the camera on your wedding day. You want to be present, with your people, in the moment, completely unhurried.
That's the only brief I work to. I stay close enough to catch everything and unobtrusive enough that you forget I'm there. By the end of the day, I want your photos to feel less like documentation and more like memory.
Every wedding includes a pre-wedding consultation, a private online gallery, and my full attention from the moment you book until your images are delivered.
Elopements
Digital & 35mm Film Photography
Investment: $2500 average spend
Just the two of you, somewhere that means something. No schedule, no crowd, no pressure, just your day, entirely on your terms.
I'll help you find a location that fits the feeling you're after, whether that's a quiet beach at dawn, a clifftop at dusk, or somewhere only you would think to go.
Elopements are available Monday to Thursday, which means we get locations to ourselves, no weekend crowds, no noise.
Portraits
Digital & 35mm Film Photography for Families, Couples & Events.
Investment: from $950
The best portrait sessions are the ones where nobody's really posing. You're just together, somewhere you like, and I happen to be there with a camera.
Whether you're newly engaged and want to get comfortable in front of the lens before your wedding, or your family looks completely different than it did a year ago, this is how you hold on to it.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Most of the couples I work with say exactly this. And almost all of them tell me afterwards it was easier and more fun than they expected. I'm not here to direct you into poses or
pull you away from your guests. My job is to stay out of the way and catch the real moments.
By the time the day ends, most couples have forgotten I was even there with a camera.
-
Candid and documentary at the core, with a quiet editorial eye. I'm not chasing trends and I'm not interested in overly posed work, I will guide you when needed. I will step back as much as possible. I want your photos to look like your wedding, not like every other wedding on Instagram. In 20 years, they should still feel like you.
-
Absolutely and I'd encourage it. We're going to spend one of the most important days of your life together.
It makes sense to sit down first, even if it's just a 15-20 minute call. You can book a time that works for you both using the link in the first email I send.
-
Absolutely! For interstate and international weddings, please get in touch for a bespoke quote.
-
Yes. For most weddings, I work solo, I've refined the way I move through a day so that nothing important gets missed.
For larger weddings, tight timelines, or ceremonies where I need to be in two places at once, I can bring a trusted second shooter. We'll work that out together in your planning consultation.
-
I prefer to focus on what I am passionate about and where my talent lies - and that is photography. I have several videographers with different styles that I work with regularly and can highly recommend. You can explore my black book of recommended vendors here.

Simply get in touch via my contact form to get the process started. Once I’ve received your email (and if I’m available on your nominated date), you’ll receive an email with my investment guide. From here, you can ask as many questions as you like and we can also meet online or in person for a chat. Once you’ve given me the big tick of approval and selected your package, you’ll receive the necessary paperwork to make it official. Signing the contract and paying your non-refundable deposit of $1000 will secure your date in my calendar.
-
Although every wedding is different, generally I provide at least 100 photos per hour of shooting. You will receive a sneak peek of around a dozen images 2-48 hours after your day to share with family and friends. Within six to eight weeks, you’ll receive the full online gallery of your wedding.
-
Yes! I recommend an album - it’s a beautiful keepsake that will feature the best of the best images printed from your special day. I can also provide guidance on prints and framing - send me an email with your favourites and I can provide a quote to fill up those blank walls with once-in-a-lifetime memories.
-
Unfortunately the answer is no, as this is a key part of my process as a photographer.
On average I take around 3000 to 6000 images on the day and work very hard to curate the best images possible, and deliver them edited in my unique style.
